Broadband Phone Service VoIP—How Much does it Really Cost?
Have you heard about cheap VoIP services are wondering just how cheap it really is? Well, the price you pay for your VoIP phone services will depend completely upon the service that you have. For example, if you use a computer based VoIP provider like Skype and are calling other Skype users then you will not pay anything at all for making the phone calls. The service is completely free and all you need is a high-speed Internet connection, computer, and headset. However, if you are looking for a phone plan to take over your traditional landline phone service for your home or office then you will want a phone based VoIP service. There are many different plans available for you to choose from and it may take some time for you to determine which one fits your calling needs and budget the most.

For example, if you are interested in free local calling and nothing else you may be able to find a plan as low as $7 to $12 per month. That is very affordable and certainly cheaper than any landline phone service you might already have. Once you begin adding on features however the price will go up. However, it is completely feasible for a company to pay as little as $200 per month for a multi line plan that offers unlimited calling both locally and long distance and very low international rates. Most of the average plans cost between $20 and $50 per month. However, what you receive for that price is out of this world.

The price of the residential platinum plan offered by Vonics is just $18.99 for the first six months and then $24.99 thereafter. This includes free local and long distance calling, low international rates, free equipment and secondary virtual number, voicemail, caller ID, keep your number, 3 way calling, 911, and call waiting to name a few. That is an amazing monthly price for all these services!

Now, a more expensive plan by VoIP Your Life costs $29.97 per month and offers unlimited calling to the US, Canada, and 33 other countries! Free hardware, free virtual numbers, no commitment, and low shipping for the equipment is offered with this plan. You also receive voicemail, caller ID, keep your number, call forward, call waiting and many other features as well. If you make international phone calls this is a great residential plan for you.

These are just two examples of VoIP service plans. If you want to spend less and have more conservative phone habits then you will have no problem finding a plan for you. If you have a company that makes many phone calls and has a really expensive phone bill each month then you will surely appreciate one of the business plans that is as cheap as $150 a month. Talk about savings when it comes to your phone bill.
